I get annoyed at Grammar Gods.
I have a LD which means it's difficult for me to learn some things, one of which is Grammar.
Get off your high horse you grammar Gods and realize that us poor mortals scrape along as best we can.

I only use my grammar god powers on lazy and annoying American teens, who just are too lame to spell right. :lmao:

The ones that use net slang annoy me to no end and should be taught better english.
However, some people love to nitpick over the littlest details, it's enough to drive those of us without English majors nuts.
Those are the ones the stamp was designed for.

I like the term "Grammer Nazi" better...cause I use it to describe my friend. He get's annoyed when I make little mistakes...so now I kinda do it intentionally to annoy him.

I needed the stamp to imply that there are people who struggle along as best they can, if I had "I am not a Grammar Nazi" it could imply that the person was good with grammar but chose not to be a A Hole about it. Thank you for the fave :)

I dislike certain Grammar Nazi stuff. I'll correct some young people who can't spell to save their lives on a 3rd grade vocabulary word and talk in n00b where it takes you about a half an hour to read one sentence. That is the most that annoys me. I don't have a heart to correct people who write 'u' instead of 'you', yet I will scold them badly for posting literature that says 'u stole mi herT awaiy'

I do dislike being corrected for silly things myself, even if it's just a joke. I know correct grammar, I'm not illiterate like these young teeny-bop 't3xT' lingo. :roll:

there are some people who need to be smacked with a grammar stick hard. But some people take the grammar correction too far.

You know it's not proper grammar to underline not when writing a standard sentence. People might confuse...... ok whatever, I'm totally full of it.

I love this stamp! I'm a writer, but even I am not a "Grammar God" and I hate trying to have conversations with people who are anal about spelling. If it's close enough, let it go. Typo's and misspelled words won't kill anyone.

Unless you're writing a letter to an evil hinchmen and typo fiend instead of friend, he might think he's supposed to kill your friend or something. :shrug:

I am one of these Grammar Nazi (or Grammar Gods) you speak of, but even I realize that some people have the inability to learn some things. The only people that I can't stand are the ones that abbreviate simple words like 'you' and 'thanks'.
